Jewish High Holidays
The Jewish High Holidays begin with Rosh Hashanah on October 2nd and end with Yom Kippur which ends on October 12th. Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year and Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement. The focus of this period is the process of repentance, whereby a Jew admits to sin and asks for forgiveness and resolves not to repeat the sin. Please join us for a Rosh Hashanah service on October 4th at 11:15 am as we recite some prayers and have some traditional foods for a sweet year.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
We will show our support company wide on October 18th with a Pink Day. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink on this day. Do you know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. We will share information about breast cancer, have some fun raffles, and give aways, as well as some fun pink treats. All residents, staff and families are encouraged to participate.
Halloween Time
You know we like to have fun here at Halloween Time. Join us as we dress up in costume and have a trick or treat parade in the morning. of October 31st . We will be filming this event this year as we dance to the Monster Mash. In the afternoon join us for a Goulash gathering as we enjoy some scary foods, fun and games.
As we practice proper social distancing protocols in our community, we are proud to feature modified programming to continue providing vibrancy for our residents and employees.
